This is a picture of one of our rackmount repeater systems atop Granite Mountain near Rossland, B.C.. From here, this system communicates via a direct UHF downlink, into a telephone line in Trail. Many of our sites, due to their high elevation locations, do not have a telephone line at them. Therefor we must radio link to provide this service. Some sites do not have AC power either. In these situations, we supply power to our repeaters with solar cells. |
